The 2026 Texas Senate Aristocracy Contest has officially entered the oven.

Two CandyDates now duel for the Senate crown, frosting swords drawn, while the Cookie King presides over the spectacle.

The court of CandyDates watches closely.

The PAC donors whisper.

The consultants place their bets.

As with all royal contests, the public is invited to observe the excitement and cheer for their preferred challenger.

But the experienced members of the court know something the crowd does not:

When the duel ends, the winner may claim the throne…

…but the loser rarely leaves the castle.

In the royal kitchen, defeated cookies are seldom discarded.

They are reassigned.

Repositioned.

Returned to the tray for the next course.

Because the oven never truly cools.

It simply prepares the next batch of CandyDates.

The court calls it succession.

The People call it “elections.”
